Tamara Bunke
Argentine-born East German revolutionary and guerrilla (1937–1967)
Haydée Tamara Bunke Bider (November 19, 1937 – August 31, 1967) was an Argentine-born East German communist revolutionary and translator. Inspired by the Cuban Revolution, she emigrated to Cuba and ultimately became a spy for the Cuban Intelligence Directorate, adopting the alias Tania. She was the sole female guerrilla in Che Guevara's Bolivian Campaign, an operation aimed at sparking liberation movements and revolutions across Latin America.
