Swansea ( SWON-zee; Welsh: Abertawe [abɛrˈtawɛ]) is a port and coastal city in Wales. It is the second-largest city in the country. The city forms a principal area, officially known as the City and County of Swansea (Welsh: Dinas a Sir Abertawe).
