Kelantan (Malay pronunciation: [kəˈlantan]; Kelantanese Malay: Klate; Kelantanese Malay pronunciation: [kläˈtɛ]) is a state in Malaysia. The capital, Kota Bharu, includes the royal seat of Kubang Kerian. The honorific name of the state is Darul Naim ("The Blissful Abode").
