John Galsworthy
English novelist and playwright (1867–1933)
John Galsworthy (14 August 1867 – 31 January 1933) was an English novelist and playwright. He is best known for his trilogy of novels collectively called The Forsyte Saga (1906, 1920, 1921), and two later trilogies, A Modern Comedy and End of the Chapter. He was awarded the 1932 Nobel Prize in Literature.
