Incarnation (literally, embodied in flesh or taking on flesh) is the conception and the embodiment of a deity or spirit in some earthly form or an anthropomorphic form of a deity. It is used to mean in human or animal form on Earth. The noun was originally coined to refer to the union of divinity with humanity of Jesus in Christianity.
