Haryana

State in northwestern India

Haryana is a state located in the northwestern part of India. It is bordered by Punjab and Himachal Pradesh to the north, by Rajasthan to the west and south, by Delhi to the southeast, while river Yamuna forms its eastern border with Uttar Pradesh. The state capital is Chandigarh, which it shares with the neighbouring state of Punjab.
