Fars province

Province of Iran

Fars Province, historically known as Pars, Farsistan, and Persis, is one of the 31 provinces of Iran. Its capital is the city of Shiraz. Fars province has an area of 122,400 km² and is located in Iran's southwest, in Region 2.
