Bokaro, officially known as Bokaro Steel City, is an industrial planned city in Jharkhand, India. With an estimated metropolitan population of 1.1 million and 183 square kilometres (71 sq mi) of area, it is the fourth largest city in the state. Bokaro is the administrative headquarters of Bokaro district.
