Aluminosilicate refers to materials containing anionic Si-O-Al linkages. Commonly, the associate cations are sodium (Na+), potassium (K+) and Hydrogen (H+). Such materials occur as minerals, coal combustion products and as synthetic materials, often in the form of zeolites.
