Region of Turkey

The Aegean region (Turkish: Ege Bölgesi) is one of the seven geographical regions of Turkey. The largest city in the region is İzmir. Other big cities are Manisa, Aydın, Denizli, Muğla, Afyonkarahisar and Kütahya.
